Intensive Care Unit

·      Patient Age Group: Adults, no pediatrics

·      Number of Beds: WEST: Neuro/Med: 22 EAST: CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14 

·      Ratios: 1:1-2 (may flex to 3 based on patient acuity)

·      Minimum Experience: 2 years

·      Ventilators: Yes – RT assigned to unit

·      Common Drips: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin; Dobutamine & Dopamine; Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG; Anti-arrhythmic- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido; Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl; TPN, TPA and Insulin  

·      Common Diagnoses (not limited to):

o  Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post STEMI 

o  Surg/Trauma: Trauma, Major post-op sx 

·      Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, TCAR (preferred), ICP Experience (preferred), Critical Care Course or ECCO (preferred), CCRN/CSC/SCN/CMC (preferred)

·      Technology: EPIC (EMR), Omnicell (Meds), Care Event Phillips (Monitors), Ascom (Call Bells), Rover Devices

·      Must be willing to float
