Operating Room - RN

Job Duties:

The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Job Requirements:

1. RN License (NY state license ONLY )
2. Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma required
3. Able to scrub and circulate
4. Telemetry is HIGHLY DESIRED

Certification(s):

- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

-ACLS (PREFERED) 

Preferred Surgical Experience: 

1. Specialty Cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive)
2. Craniotomy
3. Strong Ortho background
