OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Job Duties:

The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Job Requirements:

- NBSTSA Certification or experience as Surgical Technologist within a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year or more, occurring within the four years immediately prior to January 2015.

- Minimum Two (2) years of Experience 

- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred

- Able to scrub 

Certification(s):

- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
