Outpatient Clinic Infusion - RN

An exciting opportunity to join a community-based oncology practice that is part of a nationally recognized, NCI-designated cancer center. This small practice includes a MD, APP, LPN, Ambulatory Tech, and 3 RNs. The infusion assignment is a mixture of hematology/oncology/monoclonals, and non-oncology referral infusions. A typical infusion assignment is for 8 patients and involves chemotherapy teaching at the chairside. The maximum daily infusion capacity is 24 patients.

Requirements:

1. 2–3 years of recent infusion experience required, outpatient clinic experience highly desired
2. ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification
3. Current BLS certification from AHA
4. Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps
5. Ability to work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision
6. Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills
7. Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team
8. Current, unencumbered NYS RN licensure
