Phlebotomy Lead
A hospital in the Concord, MA area is hiring a Phlebotomy Lead to oversee its phlebotomy team and support day-to-day lab operations.
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 12:00pm to 8:30pm, full-time, 40 hours/week, plus on-call approximately one weekend in four (Saturday and Sunday, 4:00am to 8:00pm).
Pay: $23.15 to $31.97/hour, plus applicable shift differentials. Sign-on bonus details provided during the interview process.
What you'll do:
- Oversee daily operations for a team of phlebotomists and specimen processors
- Coordinate training, onboarding, and competency assessment for new and current staff
- Ensure draws are completed and patients are cared for throughout the shift
- Cover for the Phlebotomy Supervisor in their absence, including staff assignments
- Manage phlebotomy and lab supply inventory
What you need:
- 3+ years of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred, with prior training or teaching experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certified phlebotomy program graduate preferred
- Strong instructional and team coordination skills
