Senior Phlebotomist | Overnight
A hospital in the Concord, MA area is hiring an experienced overnight phlebotomist. You'll be the only phlebotomist on campus during your shift, working alongside the overnight lab team.
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, overnight, Thursday through Sunday, full-time, 40 hours/week.
Pay: $22.05 to $30.45/hour, plus shift differentials. $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid in four installments over your first year.
What you'll do:
- Draw inpatients and outpatients per floor and lab requests, prioritizing stat draws
- Handle courier handoff and cover ICU draws in the early morning hours
- Accession and label specimens, assist with patient call-backs and supply ordering
- Be trained on specimen processing on the job
What you need:
- 3+ years of hands-on phlebotomy experience (a certificate alone without real draw experience will not meet this bar)
- Experience drawing neonatal and geriatric patients
- High school diploma or equivalent; certified phlebotomy program graduate preferred
